From May 21-23, 2025, members of the EVERYONE consortium participated in the 8th Management Committee Meeting of the PEN@HYDROPOWER COST Action in St. Julian’s, Malta.
During the three-day event, members of the EVERYONE consortium presented project activities and participated in technical sessions on sustainable hydropower, including round tables on innovation at the water-energy nexus, social acceptance of hydropower, climate change impacts, and integration with other renewable energy sources.
The meeting brought together experts from over 30 countries to discuss digitalization in hydropower, educational challenges, and future directions for sustainable hydropower development in Europe, reinforcing the collaborative efforts in advancing renewable energy technologies and aligning with European climate goals.
